It sounds like you did everything that you could for that baby ig. Don't feel guilty; at least you had enough heart to try and save it. It's always sad when a creature that you've been caring for dies, but a lot of times, there is nothing that you can do other than make that creature feel comfortable before it dies. Sounds to me like the ig was at least well taken care of and happy for the last few weeks of it's life. It's not your fault, you did everything that you could.
