You do not have to freeze it mine keeps for two weeks in the fridge . It is ok if you do freeze it the calcium is high enough to make up for the lose during freezing ( you should show your vet a Ca:P list on the diet ). In my opinion this is more a method for multiple iguanas it makes it much easier to feed them this way . In my many years of dealing with iguanas this is in my opinion the best diet you can feed a captive iguana .
