Need Advice Please

Today I was holding my igg and I started to pet his beard when I noticed to pretty good sized sist like bumps. They are hard like knots, If anyone knows what these are and a cure for them please tell me. If it is over the counter. Our vet is a moron and I would prefer not to take him there if it is something I can by at the drug store.
