When I said special lighting I meant including the UVB. He had that too. I doubt he had a blockage from anything in the tank... he never ate anything on his own. It was acquired as an iglet, and didn't last long due to the fact he wouldn't eat on his own. The worm idea seems plausible but I don't know how I could have told that, and there was no vet that would see it. I don't know what else I could have done. But this experience has completely scared me away from ever owning one. I do not want a repeat performance, it was one of the saddest experiences of my life, or at least of the first 20 years of it.
