First things first, NO HOT ROCKS! They can get serious thermal burns! I've enclosed a link to my picture page on my website which has some Pics of an ig with thermal burns.
Your iguana sits on the hot rick to get heat, which means that the temp. in the tank is too low. Which also may be why he isn't eating.
The cage situation:
Well, you're stuck with the small tank. What you can do is Make an area in your room for him. Here's what you can do: (maybe your dad can help you with this)
Get a 2x4 board of wood. (2)
Get some screws
Get some shelving holders
Get some astroturf
Get some staples (and a staple gun)
Find an area of wall in your room where you can drill a few holes.
Attatch the shelving holders with the screws.
Cut your 2x4's to the appropriate length.
Staple the astro turf on the 2x4's
Place the 2x4's onto the shelving holders.
Make a ramp of some kind, You can even make a ladder for him/her out of rope tied together.
Use the left-over 2x4 peices and affix them to the wall so that you can attach your lighting and heating.
What are you feeding him?
The essence of a good diet is variety. and remember, no kind of animal protein! Iguana's are strictly herbivorous! Meaning they only eat plants.
Collard Greens
Mustard Greens
Dandelion Greens
Butternut Squash
Figs
MAngo
Papaya
Banana
Apple
These are just some of the foods.
Do you have a UVB light?
Anyway, I hope this helps. Tell me any questions that I forgot to answer.
