An Emergency Situation, I Need Advise

My stats..
sex: m
age: 17
living status: with parents, my own room
name: Gleb job:
make about 2,000-3,000 a month, cash
location: Broolyn, NY

History:
I used to have a small iggy about a year ago, after a few month it ran out of my window and i never found it =( So after that loss I just cant let this Iggy die so i need your help.

Here is what happened:
2 days ago a friend from work went out and got me a 2 year old, 1.5 feet long, not counting the tail green iguana..he said that it's my X-mas present, he never asked me if i wanted one...we cant return him either.

Some facts:

1) He's in a very small fish tank, about 4 feet long, 1 deep, and 1.5 in width. Ground is covered with some fake-grass green material

2) I have a lamp, 2 light bulbs, 1 daylight and 1 night light (red) bulb, and a hot rock which he always sits on.

.. i took him to the vet yesterday, got a $140 dollar bill.ehh, vet says that he has a minor infection near his mouth, and a calcium deficiency, he pumped him full of vitamins and told me that this should give him energy for the next few days..also i asked for a blood test, i should have the results in a few days.

so far all i've seen him actually eat are strawberries, today i'll buy different kinds of foods, hopefully i'll find more of his favorites.

so he has almost not been eating anything, color is kinda brown, buy he's still active

i cant let him die.. i'de like to keep him but cant buy a bigger cage for at least the next few month, untill i get my own appartment.

please advise me on what to do, step by step instructions, i'll try to follow them exactly and i will report on a daily basis

PS. iam leaving for on a vocation for a week on Friday, but my father will stay..
