salmonella contraction and passing gas

quick question: ive had my iguana for about 1 1/2 yrs now.
sometimes when i take naps she''ll lay down with her face on mine.
ive gotten pretty close to her b/c she is the apple of nmy eye.
now, i just kind of figured that she ddoesnt carry salmonella. i know that is carried in their poop and stuff, but how else might you get it? through scratches?
through touch? not all iguanas carry it right? can they pick it up from other iguanas?

oh, by the way. my iguana audibly farts. i mean, theres no mistaking that its a fart. and they sometimes are really putrid when shes sitting on my shoulder. thats normal too right? just checking..
