Iguanna lost coloring

I have an ig who used to have beautiful teal blue coloring on it's head. With the last shed she/he has lost it and now looks kinda greyish/black. Is this normal???? What happend to the beautiful teal blue???? The rest of him/her looks normal, just the head is dull. Thanks!
