You should take your Ig to the vet anytime you have a problem . As you would a child or yourself . I have come to understand over the years that people want a Ig as a pet they like to build big houses for them buy food spend an hour chopping it up but for some reason just cant spend the 50 or 100 dollars to take there ig's in for there checkups every six months . Your vet even if he or she is not an experienced herp vet can still find thing you cant ie x rays blood work ups and the all telling poop exam . In my opinion if you think you might need to go to the vet then you DO need to go .
