Hot rock constipation...

Scott, everyone's said enough about the heat rock, but I would like to give a possible reason for the constipation. Hot rocks can actually cause constipation because the lizard keeps it's belly in contact with the warm surface for an inordinately long time, and may actually "cook" the poop in the colon, causing the constipation..... I know of an iguana who lived with a hot rock who was always constipated, and it cleared up with the addition of overhead heating....
