....put the greens in between a couple pieces of paper towel before you put them in the bag. Keeping the excess moisture off them tends to keep them from getting mushy too soon. I usually wash my greens, cut the thick stems off, and then pack them in Ziploc bags along with the paper towel and they last for well over a week.
