I have this plasic lettuce crisper dome container thing I got at a Kitchen etc. store like 5years ago,, it keeps em crisp and fresh for over a week.
When I buy my greens I wash them well, and if they are a little "sad" looking I soak them in cold water for like an hour and they liven up, kinda like when you water a plant. I believe this also helps the life of my greens.
If you dont have a crisper I would just wash them, liven them up by soaking ( before I soak I also freshly cut the tips of the stems, I feel this helps them soak the water in kinda like fresh cut flowers do). Then, pack them in a plastic bag, like a food storage bag. I think they make special plastic storage bags for produce,, they have little tiny vent holes in them. Good luck, Yvette
