: and if they quit selling them then noone will own an iguana again and once all the iggy's that we own die how will we get another one of the beloved pets being as they arent sold anymore ?? not emaning to be smart but think about what ur saying if pet stores dont sell them then there will be none to rescue and u can have ur life back
if u dont enjoy it dont do it if you dont like iggys dont rescue them i agree pet store iggys are in bad shape instead of hoping they quit selling them why dont we hope for something better why dont we hope that they will start taking better care of them?? and not all pet stores are bad i know of a local store in alton illinois that sells perfectly healthy iguana's its owned by an iguana lover and veterinarian so she takes good care ofm them so there ya go we need to try and push a better pet store enviroment instead of not one at all
You'll should be very proud. Isn't it amazing that for those who purchased their first iguana from a pet store, herp show or boardwalk, now realize the problems that iguanas face. Its nice to read that those same people would adopt an iguana versus purchasing one the next time around.
: We live for the day when we no longer get phone calls or emails from someone to "Please take my iguana." We're "in the business" to go out of business.
: Slowly, it will happen. If enough presure is applied to those who sell them, to NOT sell them, we just might get our lives back. LOL Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day.
