dissapearing stripes

My baby ig just shed, and this morning, the last shedings came off. I just took her out for her daily bath, and she escaped. After moving all my furniture around, I caught her, and noticed that she had these dark brown tigerstripes on her back like all the igs in the ads. these sripes weren't there this morning. during the bath, the stripes faded, and completly disapered. What happened?
