Apart from the regular leaving food out and heat source....look for the tail! They're like kids, "If I can't see *you* then you can't see *me*!" Also try the closets...I believe IZ's mom found him up a sleeve of her husbands's shirt or coat once. Mine have always been up high, down low, or somehow sandwhiched inside something.
