missing iguana tips on how to find him

my iguana gone since yestarday is nowhere to be found i assumed he would come out for heat today but iw as wrong
his temp is not my worst fear it stays pretty warm in the house his diet and my cats are what i fear most i dont think they will hurt him(persians real snotty more likly to stick nose up and walk off) but i need to find him its unusual for him to be gone liek this he usually walks around awhile and returns to his cage for more lounging im worried please any tips or info would be greatly appreciated
