My cage has a peg board top, it works really well. I mounted my lights on the inside and made use of the holes in the peg board for nuts and bolts to mount. I'm not really sure what kind of lights you have, so I wont go into how I did it. But if you want to post what type lights you have I will post again.
: i have another question tonight, i am moving temporarily and with the cage i have now, i wont beable to keep it warm enough so i am converting a sink cabinet i found at my work in to one,i think it is going to turn out nice, its wood on 3 sides so i am going to put that metal cloth on the inside so he can climb, and use that as a door too. i was going to put it on the top too but after reading a previous post message, i was wondering if using peg board on the top would be to thick or maybe block heat from the bulbs and uv light, could i use pegboard top? do i have any options rather then a screen top?
