Could he have been swollowing the water??? Ive noticed that floppy takes drinks of water and then sticks his head up in the air a few times and swollows. One time my husband picked him up after he had been drinking and water started coming out of his mouth because he hadnt finished swollowing it even though at had been a minute since he had stopped drinking. Or maybe he was just tired. lol. Hopefully, someone else will be more helpful. Cuz I dont know much.
