Metal Water Trough

I was just in a new pet store in town and they had two of their juvenile iguanas in a very large metal watering trough. It had plenty of room and the actual cage set-up was fine but I was wondering if the metal could cause problems... I know amphibians should never come in contact with any metal. Is this also true with iguanas?
