Our Baby is also 19 inches and we ended up building him a cage with almost the exact same dimensions as yours! You are right, they do look kind of silly in there, but it won't take long before they grow into it. Ours spends most of his time on the basking shelf though. I wouldn't recommmend two igs together. We are fostering one right now and Baby can't stand to be around him. They are in separate rooms and i have to shut Baby's cage when I let this other one roam or I'm in for trouble. Good luck. J
