Fecal exam on this iguana lately? You don't have to take your iguana in for this, just put a sample of fecal in a ziploc baggie and take it to the Vet for a fecal exam.
Also, we have found with our iguanas, that switching the diet completely doesn't seem to go over too well with our iguanas. We only change a few items at a time, so that some of the items the iguanas are use to tasting.
The biggest concern about losting weight is not so much the sides of your iguana, but the base of the tail. If the base is sunk in chances are something is majorly wrong, because your iguana is using up it's reserve fat stored in it's tail. If the tails sunk......you need to act fast, because whatever is wrong, has been there for sometime.
