and no doubt I haven't seen this animal, but you all know what Kermit looked like when I brought him home. I didn't really think he'd make the 2 hour drive home from that herp show. But something told me that he had a spark, a will to survive. Little Kerm did most of the work himself, I just provided the nutrition, heat and light that he needed to heal himself. Personally, I know it gets very expensive, but I'm lucky enough to have a vet who understands that I do rescue work and gives me a generous break. Dishy, I know it's a hard decision and only someone who's seen this iguana can make the right decision. If she's too far gone and doesn't have the means or the will to get better, so be it. I've been on both sides of that fence very recently and decided to end one iguana's misery and try to save another. Whatever you decide, my thoughts are with you and with that poor ig. *hugs*
