First of all, thanks to all of you that have replied with helpful comments. I want to give little iggy the best care he can get, but even though I've read through Melissa Kaplan's site, the Green Iguana Society site, and Jen Swofford's site, it's still a little hard to piece together all the information necessary to keep an iguana healthy and happy.

Here are a couple of pictures of him. He's so beautiful, and I want to give him the best care I can give him. I never knew iguanas were so wonderful!

I guess he's still stressed after being moved, so I have tried to leave him alone as much as possible. Occasionally he crawls over things he shouldn't (we haven't had time to completely ig-proof the room yet), and I have to carefully lift him away. Consequently, I have a severe case of iguana owner's wrists. :)

As you can see in the pictures, he really likes lying around in the window. More than basking in the heat, it seems. Should I try to persuade him to spend more time in the basking spot, or will he automatically seek it out eventually when he needs it?

Right now he doesn't seem to eat very much. We bought all kinds of vegetables for him, but he hasn't touched much of it. I'm experimenting with his diet right now to find out what he likes, and he actually quickly ate up some zucchini squash I put in his bowl. However, he stayed away from the other food. Right now I have some parsley, collard green, red peppers (I thought maybe the color would attract him, but no), zucchini squash, and a couple of small apple bites. I bought lots of other vegetables for him too, but I want to try a little at a time to see what he likes. I guess he just needs to calm down and deal with things at his own pace.

Anyway, at least he ate _something_. And he pooped on the carpet, so he's not completely distressed. He also flicks his tongue at everything, so I think he'll be allright. :)
