Something bad happened.

hey, my baby iguan and my cat just got into a fight this mornin,
and he was bite and dropped his tail, i didn't konw what to do
i was all hysterical so i washed him and just sat with him for a
while. where he was bit looks ok, but his tail is gone. and i
wanna know do i just keeep it clean, er is ther something else i
should do too?
(please don't think that i take bad care of him er anything and
leave him with my cat, he was on my shoulder and i was walking
out of the room but he wanted to stay and ran down my back and
leg and across the floor where he and my cat got into it. i feel
REALLY bad but i can't give either of them up.)
