You need to see a vet asap. If you cannot immediately find a good reptile vet in your area, you should go to one who at least knows a little about reptiles and should be able to help you with the mites before the infestation is really out of control. Of course you need to rehydrate the ig and get some nutrition into it, which will probably be a little easier once you start getting rid of the mites. A vet who can offer some help for the time being is better than no vet at all. This sounds like an emergency to me and can't be left to chance...every minute counts right now. Please make arrangements to see a vet asap.
Here is a link to a page of a poor ig with a severe mite infestation, so you can see just how unpleasant (to say the least) and bad this situation can be when left to grow.
