Something to do from now on, is to check basking areas and other parts of the cage for temperatures. This is really important to do when setting up a new cage. Always adjust distance and wattage (heating element) to get the proper range.
ALso, continue checks on temps quarterly ( every 4 months) to assure a maintained temperature arrange year around. Don't forget night temperatures too, 70 degrees is the lowest I'd go with the temps at night.
