Worried about bone disease!!!!

Ok, guys why no reply???? I need to know how soft is soft on the jaw area? I examined Frankie again after his swim, I think his snout and mouth had a rub mark on it. I am not sure how he got it. I am just freaking out cuz I read somewhere that one of the signs from loss of Vit D3 it a soft jaw, or if the mouth doesn't line up. His mouth does line up but is not closed all the way at the tip. I hope it is due to his little sore. He is really getting fat and ready for another shed. I am feeding him all the right stuff. He seems to have strong legs, although I read that with Vit D3 loss, they will have the appearance of popeye type. Which he is very fleshy on his legs. He has a pot belly, (maybe I am feeding him too much!!!!) Would any of this alarm any of you Veterins out there? I am still green at this.
