make sure you take your iguana to a vet that really knows reptiles. melissa k has a site to go for herp vets in your area. that is where i found mine. i asked tons of questions when i went to visit the new vet. she was very knowledgable and answered my questions correct according to the information i have recieved over the internet. i felt better knowing that she just didnt call herself a herp vet but actually knew how to care for fatty.
one of the first things she did was feel fattys jawline. and look for sores and such. you really need to take your iguana to the vet. and dont forget the fresh poop sample too. most iguanas have worms until treated.
