again, you're rushing this far too much. Start off slowly with calmly speaking to him and stroking him. Don't try to pick up until he is much tamer. If you go slowly like you should be, the gloves aren't necessary. And large, bulky gloves will frighten them, and you will also be unable to tell if you are hurting him. In my opion, you should rethink the gloves. Good luck.
