Sounds like your new ig is either feeling better or has warmed up. LOL I know its not really funny, but it kind of is. We have a male iguana, Harry that terrorizes us. I know just how you feel!

Anyway, tail whipping hurts and bites can be dangerous. If your ig is loose in the house and you need to return him to his cage, do what I do. I throw a large (beach)towel over him and wrap him up like a burrito. Let his head be exposed outside the towel or he'll thrash and croc roll on ya.

Just be patient with him. I'd suggest you leave him in his cage for a few days or the first week or so and let him adjust to his new surroundings and you. Let him observe what is going on around him.

You had asked about bathing him earlier. Instead of removing him from his cage at this time, if there's room at the bottom of his cage, place a kitty litter pan with WATER in it. No need to take any steps backwards on tub training him.

Hang in there

Sue2
