: I am very sorry for the stir I caused on the Forum today. While
: I do appreciate knowing that I add some value to the group, I
: feel awful that so many people had to take time to reassure me
: that my input is welcome. Especially today. I can't express how
: bad I feel about adding a note of negativity to a day that turned out to be tragic for Sue and Draco.

: Since my Q died, I haven't been as active in helping folks with
: kidney-damaged igs as I was when he was alive and doing well. Even though he didn't die of kidney failure, I'm still not as confident as I was. Today, I made a suggestion that was countered with a valid concern, and that made me question whether my advice is sound. When I came home today, I checked
: my records and found that my advice was from one of my vets and
: not some interpretation of my own. But that doesn't make the advice foolproof.

: But someone made a good point today: There aren't very many people who have had success managing iguanas with kidney problems. Since I was one of the lucky ones, I feel as if I have a duty to do my best to help others enjoy the same success.

: So, I'll continue to offer my advice and support, promising to always qualify my posts as the personal experiences of one iguana owner who is not a vet and has no medical training.

: Again, my apolgies for any trouble I have caused.
