you say he broke his tail ... was he on antibiotics afterwards???? ... am wondering if he could have developed a low-grade infection and it's affecting his kidneys somewhat???? (cuz i think that's what happened with iZ, tho he *was* on antibiotics .... and you said be creative!) ... might want to consider a short run of Baytril and see if that perks him up? (did that with iZ last fall before he was diagnosed and the difference was like nite + day! twas a much easier way of figuring out if it was an infection than trying to do blood tests/cultures cuz we didn't know *what* we were looking for ...)
