Eventually they'll fall off if their cone like protrusions if they get big enough...but have Slee walk around on concrete grass etc...let him drag his butt to mark his territory lolol and he'll wittle em down himself. Just if he does break off one of the cones make sure his fem pore doesn't get infected, there will be a hole left where the pore was pulled out. As far as manually doing something to alter the amount of buildup...gee I suppose you could...but how what>? hmmmm.....maybe after a good warm soaking....if he'll let ya...using a dog nail clipper maybe try cutting a bit of it off??? I still think letting him do it himself, walking on concrete , asphalt...etc.
