When we first picked up Charlie he had plugs that were easily over 1/2 inch long protruding from the pores. He spent the 2 hour drive home riding on the dashboard and when we arrived home there were hundreds of skinny white stripes in perfect little rows on the dash. In the first week after he arrived at our house he had worn them down from climbing and just being active. As a matter of fact he managed to knock a couple right out. This pic was taken about 10 days after we brought him home. You can also make out the hemipenal bulge really well on our left, Charlie's right.
