How do you figure? Reptisun uvb is optimal at 9 inches. Active at 2-8 FEET depending on placement.
I would guess you could run both but why? Keep your Zoo med until it burns out...even tho they say 1 year...replace in 6 months..then buy / run your active uv heat a few hours a day. Seems like you have some other concerns about the lamps...keep asking around. Till you think yer ready.
