There are plenty of older, healthy iguanas out there looking for a good home. Most adoptions are free. Some facilities charge a small adoption fee. If you could let us know where you are located we can probably steer you to a rescue. The cage you described would be adequate for a smaller 2 year old for a short time. Is the cage expandable, could you add on to it? A cage 6Hx4Wx4D would be more suitable, even larger would be better. Best of luck and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
