Wednes, I am so sorry to hear about your loss :-( When I checked the forum this morning and saw your post, I printed it right away to take out with me, along with some tissues, at lunch time because it's only a matter of time before my coworkers think I'm crazy crying at my desk all the time (and I know they've seen me).

Anyway, back to you. My heart breaks for you and your beloved Sparky. I hope you can take some comfort in knowing that you did all you could do for him, not only in his death, but in his life. He was around a good long time, so you obviously took good care of him and I'm sure he left you with many happy and wonderful memories to cherish a lifetime. As you know, it is necessary to grieve at a time such as this. Our iguanas, like all our pets, become an endearing part of our family and when we lose a family member, a part of us goes with them; and fortunately, a part of them stays with us always. I have not read the others' responses yet, I'll wait until I get home for the above-stated reasons. So, if I repeated anything, I'm sorry, even tho that's not likely since I am always so lost for words at times such as this.

I wish you best and hope that when you are at peace with Sparky's having passed, you will open your heart and home to another iguana out there who could really use all the love and care you got to give. We all know there are so many of them and not enough of us.
