We love all animals here and have several ..all rewarding.. The rewards are different for each one...but as for our Iguanas......They are facinating creatures to watch. I study their movements and temperments...So that's relaxing to me. Their diet is appealing so there's an added benifit. Taming a creature that has razor sharp teeth, claws and a tail that can hurt...is a challange. You give them respect without question. After you've come to understand them, you form a bond with them as you do any domestic animal. They speak a language unlike most creatures...it's in their expressions, movements and reactions. It's rewarding to me to know that I made them happy by bringing them outside. I know their happy by their reactions...head bobbing, getting excited etc. I find it neat to hold a creature with that much power and have it docile in my arms. That's a reward that you would understand if you loved them as much as I do. They arn't for everyone....but I happen to love exotic pets. Good luck with your research......:o)
