we live in Fla and are lucky in having wonderful vets for our kids.
I have a yearly ck up for my 3 kids,,blood work, fecal and a general look see.
X-rays I only have if I suspect a fall or egging.
Fecals can be done twice a yr really.Ours free roam and go outside,,so they can be exposed to cat poop and pick up something. We try to keep them away from cat areas,,but we all know cats!!!!
Usually we can just drop off a fecal,so you save on vet visit and we usually have meds here,so our vet just call us and we medicate if nesscary.
Good luck and hope you have a Herp vet lined up for the future. If not,,,ck this list and see if we have one near you.
