You won't be able to tell for a LONG time. If you bought from a pet store using their advise on your Iguana please refer to Melissa Kaplans website on how to properly care for it. You'll learn proper diet, lighting and get great advise there. She has a new book "IGUANAS FOR DUMMIES" that can be ordered now if your bookstore is out of stock. Please read and get a copy of the book. See website below. It's disturbing that the pet store wasn't sure what they were selling you....but not surprising. Any questions that you have ask us and someone can help. :o)
