We in Hampton Roads VA have seen 2 mall pet stores go under. Both of these were puppy mill stores in addition to "how to kill Iguanas" stores. This is news that I hope is a trend.
We also have a very bad independant store. I complained to PETA and they had Animal Control charge and convict the owner of animal abuse. it is his second conviction and he is still in business.
