Ig turned colors

I have had an ig for almost 2 months now and just in the last couple of days it's underside has gone from green to yellow-green. Is it just growing or could something be wrong? My fluorescent bulb hasnt been working for about 2 days but should be working by thursday...it just flickers , wont ever come on. Well thanks for any help.
