My Daughters iguana has started biting. She has bitten my daughter once, and my wife.
She was given to us, so we're not sure how old she is, but safely assume she was born this last spring.
Lizzy (iguana) cage is in the dinning room, so traffic is not too high, but often enough to have human contact. The cage is 2 feet off the ground with UBV light, 16 X 18 cage.
Our Fox terrier Dog has tried to get a little too close. The Dog isn't in the house all the time, so we Do keep a close watch over her. We think she did get to examine Lizzy one day a couple weeks ago. Since then Lizzy has been in a bad Mood.
Our Daughter feeds Lizzy everyday. Wife feeds Lizzy every evening. Lizzy is getting a collard green, mustard grean, water crest, etc. Diet we pulled off the internet. She has grown alot, and seem very healthy..
Question: What do you do with an Iguana that bites now... Do you think this will pass? Could it just be the mating season? She hasn't acted this moody before.
William
Thank you for any advice.
P.S. She is going through her Second shed. But hasn't this moody.
