I was going through some old animal files at the vet clinic where I work, and I noticed one back in '96 for a female iguana.. she hadn't used her back legs in *six weeks* since she had laid eggs..and the owners stated she had broken her rear leg a *month* ago. And that's not even why they brought her in... seems like she had some "discharge" from her mouth, or something...

Could you imagine leaving one of your critters **completely paralyzed** for six weeks??

Sad, isn't it, that some people don't consider reptiles worthy of proper veterinary care?

Katherine
