I'm still trying to remove some spike shedding too. It doesn't seem to matter how wet these are...I've even tried some mineral oil. I put a little on my fingers and applied. It worked for one spike.. The rest (about 10 more) still arn't ready I guess. I think the previous owner didn't remove some of the sheds and I'm battling that. He gave me warnings to stop messing with them. He pushed my hand away with his rear claws and made a quiet hissing noise. I thought it was the wise thing to listen to him. I've been working on his spikes for two weeks now. Her spikes (two left ) to go :o) I found a couple enclosures on MKs' site. Linked to some guy that took a year on making his. It's cool. He even made his rocks. Still looking for more pics though.
