I know what you mean about the LOOK... it's frusterating sometimes. What I did today was take the warm mister and really soak the spikes again. After you've done this about 200 times....:o( the shed begins to feel almost gooey..I've been able to pick at the base on the spikes for weeks now...they were rolled up about 1/3 of the way. Today I was able to get abold of the mushey base and actually tear the shed up the middle. Instead of popping it off in one piece ...it was torn but came off. Some spkies are still holding onto the inverted tip of the shed. I figure it will be a few days before these come off. If your ig is giving your warnings...it's best to take heed to them. Some of these guys arn't as sweet as mine. He gets annoyed and tells me. I just stop and pet him. There's no hurry anyway. In the wild...nature takes care of these things. They get alot more humidity there..Don't mess with the spikes or anything if the arn't moist enough. This will bother them dearly. As far as bathes....ha ha . My female loves a bath....my male doesn't care too much for them. He has come a long way though. I think he actually liked it this week. Keep working at it....as MK said. Our bath tub is not much different then the streams etc. that they use. It's just that the bathroom has enhanced sounds, the tub is porcelain, and your staring at them from above. It should get better with time. Is the water warm not hot ? They won't like cold either. I'm sending you pics at your e-mail of my babies.
See ya.......Marsha
