If you can also take the iguana outside a few times a week, (in a cage) and let him/her soak up some natural sunlight this will help the iguana. Natural sunlight is like a super charged shot of UVB. Just make sure if the temps outside are above 80 degrees, that you provide some shade for the iguana. Reason being, some iguana can soak a large amount of heat from the sun and become over-heated. One of our iguanas, Harry, is a brown and black iguana, this guy can start getting hot at 75 degrees, while the others are not affected. Misting the iguana, a few times, while it's outside is helpful too.
A ceramic heater element can be used in the indoor enclosure to produce a basking temp. If you know the following great, if you don't know, you will now, DO NOT use a HOT ROCK. These items are dangerous to an iguana. Burns are common with iguanas that have hot rocks in their enclosures.
