My friend's boyfriend works for the local SPCA, they recently rescued an IG that was abandoned in an apartment. Since, they have been unable to find a home for him, he is in danger of being put down, so I am taking him. I have experience with reptiles but don't have much of a clue with IGs. I know that they are vegitarians, need UV lights and calcium/vitamin supplements. I guess my biggest question is how warm should the cage be? Anything else I need to know?
I am hoping to find him a good home, he has been given a clean bill of health by a vet, and from what I understand he is very friendly. He is still rather small I, about 1.5-2 feet.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks Steph
