Hi

What I meant with my post is that they DO eat animal protein when they bump in to it, i.e. carrion an so forth. BUT, they are not supposed to ACTIVELY go and search for it. AND, it's not dengerous for an Iguana to eat animal protein now and then, just on a regular basis ( though no one really nows where the breakning point is for negative effects! )
