Read the web page when your there....it's great ! You can trust the info there. Alfalfa contains Salmonella and now E coli. I have fed bean sprouts to my Iggs. before. The long white ones that you find in Chinese food. They love them.....but I can't find info on them. I'm not sue if they contain the same things as alfalfa. I know a woman in Virginia that has a rescue for Iggs and she said it was fine but...who knows. There has been alot of trouble finding the right things for my Iguanas to eat.....so I've stuck with all fresh things from the grocery and stopped giving sprouts of all types for now. They won't miss it and I'll feel better if I find out the real facts of the bean sprouts first. The seeds of alfalfa are at the tips of the sprouts...the pellets are dry and used for rabbits. The pet store seels several kinds but I chose to NOT use any of it because their diet is great as it is...and my Iggs. are fully grown. There is protien in alfalfa too. Read and have fun.....
